The Great Taste Awards is celebrating 30 years by offering 50 micro-food producers the opportunity to gain recognition and support for their high-quality products. The bursary provides small and medium-sized food producers with a unique platform to showcase their products to a panel of industry experts for free and increase their visibility within the industry.

One of the main benefits of applying to the Great Taste Bursary is the opportunity to receive recognition for the quality of your products. The bursary awards winners with the Great Taste Award, which is considered the industry’s leading food accreditation. Winning a Great Taste Award can help to differentiate your products from those of your competitors and increase consumer trust in the quality of your products.

Another benefit of applying to the Great Taste Bursary is the opportunity to receive feedback and advice from industry experts. The panel of judges, consisting of food critics, chefs, restaurateurs, and other industry experts, will provide feedback on your products and offer suggestions on how to improve them. This feedback can be incredibly valuable for food producers as they work to develop and improve their products.

The platform also provides an opportunity to increase your visibility within the industry. Winners of the bursary will be featured in the Guild of Fine Food’s Great Taste magazine and on its website, which can help to increase your brand’s exposure and reach a wider audience.

Applications to apply opened on 11th January. To apply, your business needs to be less than two years old, with a turnover of less than £100,000. Only products that are commercially available in the UK and have not been entered into Great Taste before are eligible.

If you meet the criteria, don’t forget to apply before the 07th of February. We will keep our fingers crossed for you!
