WECA- Business Growth and Adaptions Grant now taking applications!

Food Producers in the South West can now apply for the final round of WECA's Business Growth and Adaptions Grant of up to £30K.

The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) has always supported the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and Bath and North East Somerset. With the announcement of the fourth and final round of the Business Growth and Adaptions Grant, SMEs have another fantastic opportunity to ramp up their operations, adapt to regulatory changes, and position themselves at the vanguard of regional economic development.

What is the WECA Business Growth and Adaptions Grant?

Simply put, this scheme empowers businesses. It’s a helping hand to SMEs, enabling them to purchase new products and equipment, ensuring they can increase, improve, or initiate the production of tangible goods. Furthermore, in a dynamic legislative landscape, the grant provides a lifeline for businesses looking to pivot or adapt to recent legislative changes- a significant factor considering the swift regulatory shifts we’ve seen in the past three years.

The impending fourth round, which is the final offering of this grant, went live on the 21st of September and will have until the 5th of October to submit.
